Introduction to Our Data Privacy Policy
This policy sets out how we use and protect any information that you share with us when you use our websites, communicate with us, or attend one of our Summits. Unbound Summits Ltd is committed to abiding by this privacy policy in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 1998.
By registering for one of our Summits, subscribing to our services, requesting information regarding one of our Summits or attending one of our Summits, or otherwise interacting with us, you consent to unbound Summits processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Should you not agree with any aspect of the policy, it is your responsibility to stop using the site and inform us that you want your data removed from our system.
If you have any reason for complaint about our use of your personal data, please contact us using the details provided below and we will do our best to resolve the problem for you. If we are unable to help, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK’s supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Data Request and Collection
Information we collect: You may be asked to provide personal data (such as name, email, contact details, location) and work related information (such as company type, job title, area of focus) whilst you are in contact with us. We require the storage of this information to understand your needs to the best of our ability and to deliver the service requested from us. You do not have to provide these details but without them we may not be able to provide you with the products and/or services that you have requested.
Information provided by you: We store information provided by you, when you complete an enquiry form, download material from our website or register to attend, speak or sponsor at our summits, or join or mailing list, the mode in which this can be provided is via webform, email or phone. This information may include your name, address, email address, phone number, payment information and any other information relevant to the event or service you are registering for.
Information provided by 3rd parties: We may on occasion also receive information about you from third parties such as our business partners, media partners, and sponsors where you have consented to third party contact, or where we believe there is legitimate interest in the services we provide for the sectors we serve. We may also receive GDPR-compliant data that has been researched on our behalf by a contracted third party as a result of profiling by job title, company activity, industry sector and geographical region.
You agree that we may use your information for the following purposes:
- To contact you regarding research purposes.
- To provide you with relevant updates on upcoming Summits to see about your involvement in an attendee, partnership, marketing or speaking capacity.
- To provide you with services or information that you have requested from us, such as participation or sponsorship at one of our Summits.
- To contact you prior to a Summit with information to support you attending, including customer service and support, updates or changes to the service.
- To keep in contact with you about future Summits, industry news, offers or services that we believe may interest you, based on relevant factors such as your job type, location, industry, or area of interest.
Disclosing your data
You agree that we can share your personal information with third parties, where we have consent to do so:
- Such as with officially contracted third parties software’s that house your data on GDPR and Encryption compliant servers and practices to enable our services such as online Summit platform, meetings systems, registration, payment system. All third party software providers we work with will not share your details or contact you for purposes other than what is relevant to delivering our event/service, based on applicable actions made by yourself.
- At the event: Your name, job title, company name and company type will appear on the Attendee List visible to other delegates at the event to enable them to connect with you through the online event platform system messaging & meetings tool prior to and during the event. You have control over your own details within the online event platform and whether to make your contact details (phone, email) visible to those you connect with.
- With sponsors/partners if you have visited their booth or watched their panel/speaker session we will share name, job title and company name with them.
- With any other third parties where necessary to enable us to enforce our legal rights or to protect the rights, property or safety of our employees or partners where such disclosure may be permitted or required by law.
Photographic and Audio-visual Content Collection and Utility
Through participating at any of our Summit’s you agree that Unbound Summits Ltd may use any photographic and / or video content originating from the event in which your image, voice and/or other personal data (including name and job title) may appear, in order to make written or audio-visual releases, whether in-company or external and through any available and appropriate channel including media and marketing collateral. In accordance with the current Data Protection regulations, personal data will be incorporated into a file owned by Unbound Summits Ltd, in order to manage for the aforementioned purpose, and may be shared online through image galleries. If for any reason you wish not to be featured in imagery from the event, please contact us.
Website Use & Cookie Policy
We use cookies to ensure that you get the most out of our site. Cookies are small text files which are stored by your web browser on the device you use to access the site. Our cookie use does not currently monitor or track any activity you have on our website, but is used in the way to “remember” you, the next time you visit. For example, a temporary cookie is used to keep track of your ‘session’, so that you can find pages of interest easily again next time, as well as expedite the registration process through the autofill functionality available when inputting your personal information to register for the summit.

Data Storage and Security
Your data will only be stored by us on our servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United States. We uphold the firmest ideals on responsible data storage. We have put in place appropriate technological, administrative, managerial and operational security measures to protect your information against any unauthorised access or unlawful use, through meticulous selection of 3rd party software providers who all support the latest versions of Encryption and Key management in Transit and rest and are fully GDPR Compliant.
We take steps to regularly validate the personal information we hold to ensure that the information is accurate and where necessary up to date.
Payment made via our contracted sites is processed in a secure environment. We do not store any personal financially sensitive information.
You have the right to:
- See the personal data that we keep about you, and certain information about the processing and source of such data if not directly collected from you by us. Please make your request in writing to the Data Protection Officer. We will provide you with a copy of your personal data held by us free of charge (providing your request is not excessive or requiring multiple copies in which case we may charge a reasonable fee to cover costs).
